Services
I can architect websites both simple and complex, ranging from small static pages to large database driven web applications. I don’t actively advertise my services, except here, because I do have a day job as a professional software developer that demands my full attention 45+ hours per week. Any web work that I do is strictly on the side during evenings and weekends, and because I don’t advertise, I typically only get a couple jobs per year. This may seem like an odd way to promote my services, but one thing I want to be clear about is my integrity, both to my daytime employer, as well as to you. Part of my job as a software developer is to be able to give accurate estimates in both scope and time of a project. I will be honest with you concerning my work load, and roughly how long until I can deliver to you given my evenings-and-weekends limitation. With that said, you might be very surprised at just how quickly I can get the job done, so it doesn’t hurt to inquire. I have a tremendous amount of drive and motivation, and I would much rather be productive in my spare time than sit idle in front of a tv.
Cannot Afford a Website?
Another aspect of my dealings that may set me apart from others is that I am willing to barter services for services/product. Much like the olden days, if you offer a service or sell a product that may be useful to me, I may be willing to trade. In this unstable economy we must be willing to be resourceful. I am fully aware that cash may be tight, thus you may have something much more abundant (such as a skill or resource) to offer that may be just as good as cash. To list some of the things that I would be interested in swapping: home construction, landscaping, firewood/timber, lumber, access to hunting land, etc.
